Dallas–Fort Worth Overnight: 68 and Overcast, a Warm Dry Monday at 83, and Election Day Showers at 58%
The last full day before the election is the week's warm one — overcast, 83, and dry enough for everything on the list. Tuesday's showers hold in the high fifties, and Saturday's phantom thunderstorm has finally left the forecast.

Dallas–Fort Worth sits at 68.7 degrees in the small hours of Monday, feeling like 70.1 under an overcast sky, and the day ahead is the week's warm interlude: overcast again, a high of 82.9 and a low of 66.3, with the rain chance at 17%. Nothing about Monday asks anyone to change a plan. Whatever campaigning, commuting or ordinary Monday business the Metroplex has left before Election Day, the weather's contribution is to stay out of the way.
Tuesday is the day this desk has watched all weekend, and its trend has settled. After printing heavy rain at 86 to 90% for most of Sunday, then easing through the evening, the live feed now codes Election Day as showers — code 82 — with a 58% chance, a high of 74.2 and a low of 60. Some part of the Metroplex will likely see rain at some point during the 7-to-7 voting day; an all-day washout is not what the feed shows, and it never was a reason to skip a polling place. Wednesday behind it is dry and overcast at 72.9.
The rest of the week quiets down, including the one entry that argued with itself all weekend: Saturday, which carried a thunderstorm code against a single-digit rain chance in file after file, now reads as plain overcast — code 3, a high of 78.1, rain chance 7%. Thursday prints 78.4, Friday 75.2, and next Sunday turns clear and cooler at 68.9. The forecast's remaining message for North Texas is the one it has carried since Sunday night: a warm dry Monday, a showery Tuesday, and nothing in either that should decide anything.
