John Washington III Says the System Is Broken and Urges Voters to Stand With Someone Who Works for Them
In a TWA Community post, John Washington III said politicians chase votes, then money, and forget the people — and presented himself as the candidate who actually works for them.

John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, is arguing that the political system is broken and that the pattern will not change until voters stand behind someone who works for them. In his post, John Washington III wrote: "The system is broken. Politicians chase our votes, then our money, and forget us."
John Washington III wrote that politicians say "fight for you," then go back to business as usual. The pattern he described is one in which the promises made while chasing votes give way to ordinary politics afterward, and the people who cast the ballots are forgotten.
John Washington III presented his own candidacy as the break in that pattern. "This doesn't change until the people stand with someone who actually works for them," he wrote. "I'm that candidate. Stand with me. Let's take our power back."
