Cowboys Cling to a 27-24 Lead Over the Cardinals With Two Minutes Left in Arlington
Dallas led 27-17 with 3:54 to play. Arizona scored again, and the live feed had the Cowboys protecting a three-point lead, with the ball, at the two-minute mark — a game that was supposed to be over refusing to end on schedule.

This was nearly a routine Sunday win. Dallas built a 27-17 lead over Arizona on Brandon Aubrey's 35-yard field goal with 3:54 left in the fourth quarter, according to the Cards Wire live file. Then Arizona scored again. The Sportradar live feed read this cycle had the game at 27-24 with 2:02 left, Dallas holding the ball facing third-and-16 at the Arizona 26 — one first down from ending it, one stop from giving Gardner Minshew the ball back with a chance to win it.
Minshew is the reason the fourth quarter looked like this. Jacoby Brissett started for Arizona and struggled — 10-of-23 for 119 yards, an interception and four sacks taken — before head coach Mike LaFleur benched him in the third quarter. Minshew's second play was a handoff Tyler Allgeier took 63 yards for a touchdown, and after Dak Prescott answered with a 5-yard touchdown run of his own, Minshew drove Arizona 80 yards in seven plays and found Allgeier again, from 5 yards, to make it 24-17. Allgeier was, by then, Arizona's only healthy active running back: Jeremiyah Love (ankle), Kendrick Bourne (high ankle sprain) and Bam Knight (concussion) had all been ruled out.
The early game belonged to Dallas in odd ways. The Cowboys' first touchdown was a Javonte Williams fumble at the goal line that bounced into the end zone and onto practice-squad tight end James Mitchell. Prescott's 9-yard pass to Ryan Flournoy made it 14-0, Chad Ryland's field goal got Arizona on the board before halftime, and Aubrey's 31-yarder stretched it to 17-3 in the third. This is a late-game update, not a final: the confirmed final score and the full game file stage in the first production cycle after the game ends.
