Dallas–Fort Worth Sunday Evening: 77 and Overcast Again, Election Day Showers Still at 86% (Dallas Watch News)

Sunday is closing the way it spent most of its middle: under cloud. The station's live feed read 76.8 degrees and overcast in the early evening, feeling like 80, with the day's high printed at 78.9 and rain still out of the picture at 1%. The brief late-afternoon clearing did not hold, and the first sunset of standard time comes behind cloud cover over Dallas–Fort Worth.

The two days that matter have not moved. Monday is overcast and warm — a high of 83, a low of 64.4 and a rain chance of 16% — the last dry-ish day of the stretch. Tuesday, Election Day, holds at weather code 81, rain showers, with an 86% precipitation chance, a high of 74.4 and a low of 61.1. That is the same forecast the station has carried since mid-afternoon, and its stability is itself the planning news: voters in Dallas and Tarrant Counties should still expect a wet trip to the polls between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and the free DART and Trinity Metro rides remain the easiest way to make it.

Behind the election, the week clears and stays mild. Wednesday is dry at 76, Thursday reaches 81, and Friday and Saturday turn clear at 77 and 79 with rain chances of 11% or less. One wet day, placed exactly on the one day the Metroplex has to go somewhere, and then a clean autumn week on the other side of it.
