Halloween Night in Dallas–Fort Worth Is a Concert Night: PJ Morton, a Funk Band in Mummy Costumes and 26 Shows
Saturday's Halloween calendar is not only trick-or-treating. The Metroplex concert list runs to 26 shows on Oct. 31 - soul at the Majestic, funk in bandages at Billy Bob's, hardcore in the Design District and pop-rock at House of Blues.

For grown-ups, Halloween night in the Metroplex is a concert night. The week's Dallas–Fort Worth concert calendar counts 26 shows on Saturday, October 31 - matching Friday as the biggest night of the week - across both cities and, as the calendar puts it, every neighborhood that matters.
The headline rooms: PJ Morton brings his Saturday Night Sunday Morning tour to the Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas at 8 p.m. In Fort Worth's Stockyards, Here Come the Mummies - a funk band that performs wrapped in bandages - plays Billy Bob's Texas at 10 p.m., an 18-and-over show. Black Flag plays AM/FM in Dallas's Design District at 7 p.m., and at House of Blues in Victory Park, VOILA's Moonbloom show starts at 6 p.m. with Weathers and Ella Red on the bill. In Plano, the Prince tribute Prince Again plays the Lexus Box Garden at Legacy Hall.
The concert week does not slow down after the costumes come off: the same calendar has Victoria Monet at South Side Ballroom on Monday, Doja Cat with Latto at American Airlines Center on Wednesday, and Steve Lacy closing the week on Thursday. Ticket details for each show are on the venues' own listings.
