Miranda Lambert to Headline the Cowboys' Thanksgiving Halftime Show in a Texas Homecoming
The East Texas star headlines the 30th consecutive Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff on Nov. 26 at AT&T Stadium, when the Cowboys host the Eagles on FOX - the holiday broadcast that has helped raise more than $3.4 billion.

Miranda Lambert is coming home for Thanksgiving. The multi-Platinum, three-time GRAMMY winner will headline the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day halftime show on Thursday, November 26, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, when the Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. CT on FOX, and Lambert's set is the halftime centerpiece - the 30th consecutive Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff, the nationally televised launch of the charity's holiday fundraising season.
The tradition she is joining is older than the stadium. The Cowboys-Salvation Army partnership began in 1997, when Reba McEntire performed at Texas Stadium, and the halftime stage has since carried Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson, along with Destiny's Child, the Jonas Brothers and Post Malone. This year's effort is the Salvation Army's 136th Red Kettle Campaign, and the Cowboys say the kickoff tradition has helped the campaign raise more than $3.4 billion over three decades. In the announcement, Lambert said she could not wait to be back home in Texas this Thanksgiving.
Lambert arrives with new music in hand: her album Crisco, released in early October, pairs country with disco and features collaborations with Ella Langley and Chris Stapleton, PEOPLE reported. Her Thanksgiving setlist has not been announced - which songs she sings, whether guests join her, and how long the show runs all remain hers to reveal on the day.
