MercyMe and Jeremy Camp Bring the Fall Tour to Dickies Arena Tonight at 7

Fort Worth's Sunday night belongs to contemporary Christian music's biggest touring bill: four acts, a 14,000-seat arena at 1911 Montgomery Street, and the songs — 'I Can Only Imagine,' 'I Still Believe' — most of the room will know by heart.

MercyMe and Jeremy Camp Bring the Fall Tour to Dickies Arena Tonight at 7 (Dallas Watch News)

The fall's biggest Christian-music tour lands in Fort Worth tonight. MercyMe and co-headliner Jeremy Camp play Dickies Arena on Sunday, November 1, with singer-songwriters Tim Timmons and Sam Wesley opening the night together — doors at 5:30 p.m. and the show at 7, according to the arena. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.

The bill is built on songs the audience arrives already knowing. The arena's event page says MercyMe will play 'I Can Only Imagine' and 'Even If,' and Camp brings 'I Still Believe' and 'Dead Man Walking'; Timmons and Wesley open together, with 'Starts With Me' and 'Holding Onto Me' among their listed songs. MercyMe has spent 25 years among the genre's biggest acts, with nine No. 1 albums on the Billboard Christian charts and 20 No. 1 songs, per the weekend listings read by this desk.

Fort Worth is stop 15 on the 24-city MercyMe LIVE Tour, which opened October 8 in Columbus, Georgia, played The Woodlands on Saturday night, and closes November 15 in Minneapolis. The venue is the 14,000-seat arena at 1911 Montgomery Street, built in 2019 and owned by the City of Fort Worth. For a Metroplex Sunday that began with cemetery altars and museum hours, it is a fitting close: a room full of people singing about remembrance, at full volume.
