TCU Rallies Past Kansas 22-16: Jaden Craig's 17-Yard Touchdown With 1:09 Left Wins It in Fort Worth
Shut out for the entire first half, TCU scored 22 points after halftime at Amon G. Carter Stadium and beat Kansas 22-16 on Saturday, capped by a 13-play, 84-yard drive in the final minutes.

TCU spent a half looking beaten in its own stadium, then spent a half proving otherwise. The Horned Frogs rallied from a 13-0 halftime deficit to beat Kansas 22-16 on Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, winning it when quarterback Jaden Craig sprinted 17 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with 1:09 to play and then passed to Jordan Dwyer for the two-point conversion.
The comeback was built in layers. Kansas, starting Cole Ballard at quarterback with Isaiah Marshall out injured, outgained TCU 451 yards to 286 and held the Frogs scoreless in a first half for the first time since 2018. TCU answered in the third quarter: Max Carroll returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown, and Ace Theus scored on a 29-yard run with 26 seconds left in the quarter to put TCU ahead 14-13. Kansas moved back in front 16-14 on a fourth-quarter field goal, and Ballard finished with 285 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception.
That left TCU one drive, and Craig drove it — 13 plays and 84 yards in 3:46, finished by his own 17-yard run. Craig completed 13 of 29 passes for 141 yards and ran 15 times for 87. Kansas' last possession ended with a desperation throw from midfield falling incomplete. TCU improves to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the Big 12; Kansas falls to 3-5 and 1-4, and returns home to host UCF next.
