Six Flags Over Texas Ends Its Fall Season Sunday: Fright Fest, Tricks and Treats and Oktoberfest All Close November 1
Three overlapping fall programs at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington end on the same day — Sunday, November 1 — with the family daytime events giving way to Fright Fest after dark for the last time this year.

Sunday is the last day of fall at Six Flags Over Texas. The Arlington park's official event calendar lists all three of its overlapping fall programs — Tricks and Treats, Oktoberfest and Fright Fest — through Sunday, November 1, giving visitors one final day to choose between family activities in the daylight and the park's nighttime scares.
The three are not interchangeable, and the park's own guidance is to pick a lane before arriving. Six Flags describes Tricks and Treats as its daytime, all-fun-no-fear option, aimed at younger guests, while Oktoberfest runs as the food-and-drink program on weekend days. Fright Fest takes over after dark on select nights with haunted mazes, scare zones and live entertainment; the park notes Fright Fest is not recommended for children under 13, and haunted mazes sit behind a separate Haunted Attractions Pass on top of admission. This year's Over Texas maze lineup, per the Fright Fest guide, includes The Conjuring Universe, SAW: Legacy of Terror and The Strangers: No Escape, plus a new premium scare zone, Doc Varnum's Hybrid Hell Pit.
The practical warning travels with every closing weekend: entertainment, activities and ride availability can change, and Fright Fest runs on select nights rather than every operating day, so the date-specific schedule on the park's official calendar is the controlling source for Sunday's hours before anyone makes the drive to Arlington.
