Where to Vote in Dallas on Election Day: Dallas County's 444 Vote Centers Open 7 to 7 on Tuesday
Early voting closed Friday. Dallas County voters who waited have one day left: Tuesday, November 3, when any registered voter in the county can cast a ballot at any of 444 vote centers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early voting is over in Dallas County, and Election Day is the last chance to be counted in the November 3 election. Polls open Tuesday at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m., and Dallas County runs countywide vote centers: any registered Dallas County voter can vote at any of the county's 444 Election Day vote centers, not just the one nearest home. Anyone in line by 7 p.m. can still vote.
Where a voter casts a ballot does not change what is on it. A voter's address decides which races appear on their ballot wherever they vote, and the county's sample-ballot lookup shows each voter their own races before they go. Parts of the city of Dallas sit in Collin County and Denton County; voters registered there vote in their own county's vote centers, which follow the same 7-to-7 Election Day hours.
Voters holding a mail ballot have two ways left to return it: mail it so it is postmarked by 7 p.m. on Election Day and arrives by 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, or hand-deliver it in person, with an accepted photo ID, to the Dallas County Elections Department at 1520 Round Table Drive on Election Day only, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. DART is offering free rides to the polls on Election Day on its buses and trains for riders who show a valid voter registration card.
The Election Day turnout watch is this desk's signature file: Texas set a record 19,041,684 registered voters for this election, and Dallas County's roll stands at 1,493,955. Dallas Watch News will report turnout from Dallas and Tarrant Counties through Tuesday.
