Dallas–Fort Worth Weather: the Rain Has Moved to Election Day — Heavy Rain Tuesday, 90%
Sunday stays mild and overcast near 77, Monday warms to about 83 — and then the week's one real rain day lands on Tuesday, Election Day, with heavy rain at a 90% chance and a high near 74.

Dallas–Fort Worth's Sunday is running mild and grey: 72.7 degrees late this morning under overcast skies, on the way to a high near 77, with rain essentially out of the picture at a 2% chance. It is a comfortable last day of the weekend — and, on the station's live Open-Meteo feed, it is also the calm before the week's one washout.
Monday now looks warmer and drier than this morning's files had it: overcast, a high near 83 and a low near 65, with the rain chance down to 35%. The thunderstorm risk that earlier forecasts parked on Monday has eased — and moved. Tuesday, November 3, is now the wet day by a wide margin: weather code 65, which is heavy rain, a 90% precipitation chance, a high near 74 and a low near 66.
Tuesday is Election Day, which makes the timing more than a curiosity: polls across Dallas and Tarrant counties are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and a heavy-rain day is a reason to build extra time into the trip — or to ride free, since both DART and Trinity Metro are running free Election Day service to the polls. Wednesday clears back to overcast and dry at 77, and the rest of the week stays quiet: Thursday 77, Friday 70, Saturday near 73, with rain chances in the low single digits until the weekend.
